Insta360 Pro camera looks like an extra from Star Wars

it looks like something out of Star Wars
this silver orb is the insta 360 Pro a
camera that makes stereoscopic or 3d 360
that means when you're viewing video or
stills in a headset you can see the
depth effect it shoots 8k stills 6k
video and 4k slow motion at 100 frames
per second
there's also live streaming support and
digital image stabilization the camera
has onboard controls but all settings
can be tweaked through the desktop or
phone apps you'll get around one hour of
recording time from the battery
depending on your shooting settings now
you might be thinking that there are a
lot of other pro 360 cameras with
similar features but one of the big
differences is that this one does
stereoscopic 360 relatively cheaply at
$3,500 image stitching and processing is
all done in camera but you can grab
those six separate images from the
lenses to stitch together yourself we
compare the same video from the
in-camera stitched to the higher-quality
stitch using the company's software and
they do look pretty similar for audio
there are four marks on the camera but
it's not spatial so for that you're
going to want to plug in an external mic
to get your hands on an insta 360 pro
they're shipping in mid-may and the
final version will be black
