Intel's latest chips are not that great
computer processes they don't exactly
grab the attention of the general public
however a lot of people think that the
latest generation should be better than
the last but in the case of Intel's
newest processors that might not be true
Intel's newest line of processors is
known as KB Lake the desktop version of
these processes were officially launched
on January 3rd a number of sites have
performed benchmarks on KB Lake
processors and found they are far from a
vast improvement on previous generations
of intel's processors cable 8 processors
seem faster because the clock speed is
set higher than older processors however
older processors can be made to run as
fast and sometimes a bit faster than the
new KB Lake processors by overclocking
overclocking allows a processor to run
faster than it was designed to run so
what does this mean it means if you have
a relatively recent PC these processors
may not be the best reason to upgrade in
fact according to one test a 6-year old
Intel processor ran games about as well
as KB Lake processors however if you
want to watch 4k Netflix on a PC you'll
need a KB Lake processor newer storage
technologies will also require the new
chips for more information check out
