the JBL boost is part of a new breed of
mini sound bars it's designed to make
your flat-screen sound better than just
the school corridor during recess it's
$200 and does what it intends it
improves your TV sound and maybe even
better than a Bluetooth speaker at the
same money the boost TV is pretty simple
it accepts an optical connection from
your TV and it can decode don't be
digital broadcasts it will also stream
Bluetooth music from your phone or
accept a line input these bass ports and
the speaker's relatively large size help
give the speaker more authority in the
typical Bluetooth speaker the sound is
much more open - and this is especially
helpful for bringing out dialogue in TV
shows music isn't as successful in rock
and dance can sound a little bright
especially air volume but if you're just
looking to improve the sound of a small
TV it does a pretty good job
you
