hey there I'm Josh Goldman senior editor
with seen it and I'm here to talk to you
about the jvc everio jeezy ex250 now
with standard definition camcorder is
gone there's a whole crop of entry-level
HD models which basically used long zoom
lenses and extra features to attract
buyers with the ex250 for example it
uses a 40x zoom lens 16 gigs of internal
flash memory and built-in Wi-Fi for its
main selling points now the first two
are pretty self-explanatory but the
Wi-Fi gives you things like live
monitoring either direct to an iOS or
Android device or over the web it can
act as a motion detector automatically
taking a photo and sending it off by
email it can also email 15-second video
clips to up to eight registered
addresses or you can directly connect to
a smartphone and use it to transfer an
upload video to sharing sites get
geotags or remotely control the
camcorder now some of these features
work better than others and not all of
them are supported for Mac or iOS but it
is more functionality than you get with
most camcorders aside from the Wi-Fi
you'll also find some other extras like
time lapse or slow motion video or other
effects video quality is okay but
despite being called full HD and
recording an AVCHD format it looks more
like good standard definition video so
basically buy it if you're really into
the wireless capabilities in the 40x
zoom and your videos are primarily for
online sharing i'm josh golden and
that's the jvc everio jeezy
