let's check out the KitchenAid precision
press coffee maker this machine may look
like your standard French press coffee
machine but it actually has a little
secret it has a scale built right in and
with that scale you can measure and
weigh exactly how much coffee grounds
are going to add and brew with as well
as the water volume that you're putting
into the kettle despite all its
high-tech gadgetry its scale and LCD
screen this machine is essentially a
basic French press it has a lid with a
plunger that plunges the filter into the
grounds and that will separate the
coffee liquid from the grounds and
create that delicious French press
coffee that people love so much it's not
as convenient as you might expect if
you're not fast enough the scale as well
as the timer will timeout zero out your
weight values and you're gonna have to
start from scratch all over again also
just like any French press you're gonna
have to grind your own coffee and you're
gonna have to boil your own water or at
least have a kettle that has the exact
temperature that you want to brew it it
doesn't actually heat your water for you
priced at one hundred and fifty dollars
this is expensive especially when you
can buy a stainless steel French press
for anywhere between eighty to a hundred
bucks and even lower if you want to
lower the volume of coffee you want to
make this device may sound convenient
but I have to tell you you're probably
better off just buying a regular kitchen
scale and an ordinary French press and
you're gonna have the same results
