today we're going to check out a tablet
called the LG G pad 8.3 now this is LG's
first tablet in a while and it's
equipped with a corning glass 8.3 inch
HD IPS display the screen has a 1920 x
1200 pixel resolution which is the same
as the current Galaxy Nexus 7 but the G
pad has a lower 273 PPI compared to the
Nexus is 323 PPI the wifi-only tablet is
lightweight weighing in a little less
than three-quarters of a pound and
pretty easy to physically handle in
addition to the two gigs of ram and 16
gigs of internal storage you'll also get
a microSD card slot here which is
expandable up to 64 gigs the device runs
android 4.2 point2 jelly bean and one
interesting software feature that LG
through in is q pair q pair connects
your tablet with your smartphone via
bluetooth and it works with any android
handset running 4.1 jelly bean or later
once connected you can see your phone's
notifications its incoming calls you can
decline a call or respond with a message
through the tablet and more the g pad is
powered by an impressive quad-core 1.7
gigahertz Snapdragon 600 processor and a
4.6 am Pierre battery on the back you'll
find a 5 megapixel camera and there's a
1.3 megapixel front-facing camera as
well currently the tablet is available
through best buy for about three hundred
and fifty dollars and comes in black or
