at CES 2014 we've seen some incredible
TV technology from curb displays I will
s4k even stream that let you choose
whether you want your TV flat or curbs
but the problem with all of those things
is that unless you've recently
discovered oil in your back garden you
probably can't afford them so we're
going to look now at something a little
bit more modest but really impressive as
well it's the LG lb 7200 okay so this is
a 1080p LED TV it's got a really nice
design if you look at the bezel around
the edge it's really really slim I
particularly like as well the attention
to detail on these front firing speakers
and there's a subwoofer built into the
back as well it uses LG's passive 3d
tech which means if you need to buy more
3d glasses they're quite cheap and they
don't require batteries either which is
a definite plus meanwhile apps and other
smart TV features are powered by LG's
new web OS platform which hopefully
should make using those smart features a
little bit more intuitive it's coming
out in the first half of this year I'll
be interested to see how it holds up
under our scrutiny review conditions on
the request rate of CNET here at CES
2014 check out CES docenas calm for more
