life is all about contrasts and LG's
OLED TVs with HDR are all about the
contrast between deep dark black &
bright white on the same screen HDR or
high dynamic range is the next big thing
in televisions and it's all about giving
you a really wide range of color and
tone to give you a rich detailed picture
in your movies and TV shows OLED TVs
like this one are well suited to HDR
because the strength of OLED is
producing a perfectly dark shade of
black and a very bright white on the
screen at the same time adding HDR makes
are pretty clear difference to movies
and TV the brighter highlights really
popping from the screen without losing
that solid black shadow that provides
such a pleasing contrast the contrast
between the shining highlights and deep
shadows in this demo give you an almost
3d like depth to the picture but as with
all new tele technology you need the
content to match the TV there isn't a
huge amount of HDR content yet but
amazon instant video is now streaming
some new shows in HD are the new tvs go
on sale in September and as well as HDR
they have all the usual Smart TV
features like apps downloading movies
and online streaming from services like
Netflix and Amazon check out our
