Make your own 360 degree VR videos with Google Jump

Google's got a new twist on virtual
reality and it's called job I'm Lexy
Cellini's from seen it here at Google
i/o 2015 let's take a look at the brand
new technology now jump is a VR system
based around 16 cameras they can be any
camera you can buy off-the-shelf all
this particular configuration here which
is with 16 GoPros now what happened is
when you arrange the GoPros in a
configuration like this I do like a
reverse bullet time bullet time with all
the cameras facing in on you this is the
reverse they're all facing outside to
create a 360 degree view now they're all
recording at the same time
simultaneously also grabbing audio once
the footage has been captured from all
those 16 cameras you then import it into
a piece of jump software this will do
all the computational magic required to
make it into a fully immersive VR
experience and once that's done you can
view it in Google cardboard the finished
result is on YouTube and you can do it
with both of your eyes in Google
cardboard coming this summer also you
can actually get the models to print
from yourself - that's also arriving in
summer but if you want to check out more
on the jump system you can head over to
