Microsoft All-in-One Media keyboard: A low-cost keyboard combo for home theater or home office

this keyboard touchpad combo was
designed for the home theater PC user
but can also be used in a traditional
home office manner
hi I'm Joseph Kaminski and today we're
taking a look at the Microsoft
all-in-one media keyboard one of the
first things I noticed was its matte
black finish that I can appreciate
considering that shiny finishes tend to
show more fingerprints and dust the
keyboard runs on two triple A batteries
connects via USB dongle that can be
stored in the battery compartment
magnetically the touchpad supports
Windows 8 gestures making it convenient
for people like myself have already
grown accustomed to using them across
the top of the keyboard you'll find
Windows 8 shortcuts that can be
customized via a small software download
from Microsoft the spacing of the keys
from the actual keyboard are tight to
prevent accidents speaking of which
let's see what happens if I actually
spill some water on it looks like it's
still working hitting some keys here a
notepad and gestures still working I
guess it truly is spill resistant thanks
for tuning in to CNET TV where we try to
make life a little more user friendly
i'm joseph Kaminsky and we just looked
at the Microsoft all in one media key
you
