Microsoft mad at Google for revealing big Windows bug (CNET Update)

Microsoft is not very happy with Google
right now Google publicly announced that
there is a security flaw in Windows 10
that hackers are exploiting and
Microsoft does not have a patch for it
yet here's why this is controversial
tech companies tend to have this
understood agreement between one another
that when a flaw is found you tell the
company's security team privately and
you don't go blabbing about it to the
world right away thereby giving the
company time to fix it if you advertise
the flaw before there's a fix you're
inviting more hackers to take advantage
of the bug and the blog post google says
it did give Microsoft ten days to do
something about it but since Microsoft
has not patched it yet
Google felt it was important to tell the
world why because hackers are already
taking advantage of the flaw some
experts argue that ten days is not
enough time to code test and patch bugs
in something complex like an operating
system Microsoft commented in a
statement two VentureBeat saying
Google's actions could put Microsoft
customers at potential risk the bug also
involves Adobe Flash Adobe patched the
problem on its end you can best protect
yourself by updating your Flash software
but until Microsoft releases of fix
through a system update Windows 10 users
are still susceptible to an attack I'm
