van Ackerman at CES 2014 with the new
lenovo flex 14 d you can also get this
in a larger 15-inch 15 d we've seen the
flex before it's almost like a yoga but
what it does is it lets you have a
regular clamshell laptop it's got this
kind of rubber bumper hinge on the back
and you fold it back and it goes and
goes and then it stops just about here
so you can form what I kind of call the
kiosk mode which is great for like
showing videos or presentations you
don't have the keyboard and touchpad in
front of your distracting you and you
can still interact thanks to the
touchscreen the difference between this
new version in the original flex is that
this guy now has an AMD processor and
that actually lets you get down to 499
and you can add hyerin options like a
one terabyte hard drive like a backlit
keyboard some discrete AMD graphics but
if you want something that's a flexible
enough to let you have these different
kind of modes for displaying it and not
spend as much as you would on a yoga now
you can spend even less thanks to the
AMD version which is the flex 14 d i'm
