hey there i'm josh goldman senior editor
with CNET and this is a quick look at
the nikon coolpix L 6 10
so the coolpix L series cameras are
entry-level models which means there
aren't a lot of bells and whistles here
the highlights include the 14x zoom lens
a high res 3-inch LCD double-a batteries
for power
assuming you consider that a plus and 16
megapixel backside illuminated CMOS
sensor something that you typically
don't find in an entry-level model the
sensor helps give it above-average
picture and video quality first class
but the results are still best for small
prints and web sharing likewise it's
shooting speeds are better than low end
models using CCD sensors but if you're
considering this for sports or active
kids and pets you'll likely miss the
shot you want more often than not
shooting modes are all automatic for the
most part so there is no control over
shutter speed or apertures and while it
can record 1080p video the zoom lens
doesn't work while recording in the end
if you need an easy automatic
point-and-shoot powered by double-a
batteries for casual snapshots of
stationary subjects in good lighting
this meets those criteria
I'm Josh Goldman and that's the nikon
coolpix l6 10
