Nintendo Classic Edition review

2016-10-19
the Nintendo NES is coming back for the holidays and its really really tiny the NES classic edition is the sort of thing Nintendo should have done years ago it's a standalone package of 30 classic Nintendo games from the 80s bundled into a teeny-tiny replica of mini NES along with a classic NES controller to play with for $60 it offers a pretty awesome greatest hits collection of Nintendo's best Super Mario one through three Zelda and Zelda - Metroid and even third-party classics like Castlevania super C and Tecmo Bowl and this time you'll actually be able to save any game midway through and take a break the NES plugs into your TV via HDMI but plays games back at original 4:3 stretched mode or even with CRT style video effects extra controllers cost $10 and unfortunately you only get one in the box the little NES controller replicas do plug in 2 we remotes to play Virtual Console games on the Wii and Wii U however you're getting decent value at $2 a game and the games are all pretty good in this compilation grab one plug it in and bam you're back in your 80s basement again
