there's a great big world of affordable
but impressively powered phones the one
plus 5t is definitely one of them it's a
slight upgrade to the one plus five
which arrived earlier this year and
became one of CNET's
top phone picks the five t keeps the
same body design more or less it adds an
even larger six inch OLED display it's
only 1080p but it still looks good the
one plus 5t has a fast qualcomm
snapdragon 835 processor a 3300 milliamp
battery and dual 16 and 20 megapixel
cameras that offer depth effects for
portrait shots like many top-end phones
now do there's a fingerprint sensor
that's moved to the back of the phone
but the five t also adds face unlocking
the promise is easy and fast set up in
use I tried it and it definitely worked
quickly the phone's not water-resistant
for accidental dunks but it does have a
headphone jack oneplus has its own
variation of Android called oxygen OS
that looks clean and has its own set of
custom apps Android Oreo will be
available in early 2018 or in beta mode
by the end of this year the 1+5 team
manages to also be a lot more affordable
than other premium phones at $4.99 with
64 gigs of storage or 559 for 128 gigs
pretty pretty good it'll arrive on
November 21st
