Orange Lumo, San Remo and Nivo offer 4G, Jelly Bean in Europe
2013-02-21
hello I'm Richard Trent home of cnet and
i'm here at orange headquarters in
London to meet the new orange sanremo
nivo and LUMO which is the first 4g
orange phone the LUMO nivo and san remo
are three new phones from european
carrier orange and will be available in
various countries this year they all
come with Android 4.1 jelly bean
software giving you an affordable way to
put the latest software in your pocket
the LUMO is oranges first own brand 4g
phone so we'll connect to the web at
superfast speeds in countries where
orange has a 4g network it's a 4.5 inch
smartphone with an 8 megapixel camera
and dual core processor for speedy video
gaming and web browsing the san remo is
the biggest phone orange is ever made
clocking in at a whopping 4.7 inches
there's a dual-core chip inside and its
bit of a looker too with a slender
profile and classy silverback and at the
cheap and cheerful n does the orange
nivo with it's dinky 4.5 inch screen and
5 megapixel camera all three phones are
loaded with orange apps giving you
features like a custom lock screen and
apps for free cinema ticket but those
orange extras mean you won't necessarily
get Android updates in future my
favorite feature is that you can draw on
the screen to open an app a bookmark or
a contact for example to review open
video or draw an O to go online so the
orange sanremo nivo and lumo will be
available on orange in europe in the
first half of 2013 i'm rich at red home
of cnet
