a long time gaming laptops been too big too heavy and just too ugly at least over the past few years we've closed the power gap with desktop so a gaming laptop isn't a big step down in performance anymore but most of these were still back-breaking monsters that's why I love that PC makers have finally decided it was time to work on the look and feel of these systems also the Origin PC evo 15s is one of this new generation of gaming laptops that Slim's down while running graphics cards powerful enough to work with virtual reality hardware like the oculus rift that's because it has one of Nvidia's new chief worth 1060 GPUs inside unlike some other slim gaming laptops hooking up an oculus rift or HTC vive is actually easy because there are enough ports you have four USB ports plus a USB C even HDMI and DisplayPort for video that's important because you might need one port for a VR headset another for a camera and at least a third for a controller both VR and regular games played great that 1060 card is niacin graphics card you can get in the laptop but for every new game I tried from battlefield 1 to mafia 3 a played fine at high settings in 1920 by 1080 resolution I only had one real complaint about this system having all those ports pushes the power button down to the very front of the right side panel good luck not accidentally hitting it every single time you pick up the system
