hi I'm Kent Sherman senior editor here
at cnet.com I'm Donna bell and we're
here with our very first look at the
Apple iPhone it does have a touchscreen
it's a pretty unique on a cell phone and
there absolutely no buttons except one
right down here that takes it back to
the home menu heard a lot about this
virtual keyboard that pops right up the
only thing I was concerned about though
is I really would like the keyboard to
be displayed horizontally like this
we'll just look at the photos so we'll
select that picture of Donald C there he
is and there's this nice to zoom in and
pinch your fingers together and you can
see the picture it gets close but of
course it's just the iPhone it's all
about music and video in a lot of ways
go over to Donald now right you can find
your music you can turn it into
landscape mode here you can flip through
music using Cover Flow find a album you
want to play double click on it find the
track you want to play click on that and
it's already playing it's a great device
I just wish it was a standalone iPod
it's wrong with the phone the phones
great sometimes you know you just just
want to be alone so good these phones
are good and that's your very first look
at the Apple iPhone
