hey guys this is bryan bennett at cnet
and we are at the International
housewares show 2015 in Chicago we're
taking a first look at a really
innovative product it's called the
pancake bot what this device is
essentially is a 3d printer that uses
pancake batter and connects to your
computer that it actually will draw
shapes that you sent to it you can email
it you can program it you can have it
basically print all sorts of crazy
shapes like dinosaurs and butterflies
and even maybe your face if you're into
that this pancake bot machine is
expected to cost 299 dollars which is a
pretty good price for something that
uses 3d printing technology and will
help you cook brunch you want to get
your hands on the pancake bot you can
check it out at Kickstarter there's a
project that's already mostly funded and
you might be able to get a sweet deal on
it if not you can probably pick one up
by the fall maybe even as soon as the
summer of 2015 and that hopefully will
hit broader retail channels and maybe
even a big box retailer we'll see I'm
Brian Bennett for cnet and we have just
taken a first look at the pancake bot
