hey I'm seen that's right Crist here on the trade show floor at light Fair International big commercial and residential lighting Expo in New York City and what we've got here is the luminous carpet from Philips this is a special carpet that's got LEDs packed underneath and the carpet itself is light transmissive so the light shines through when the lights are on and the lights disappear when they're off so right now you see a scrolling message you can walk on this you can spill drinks on it vacuum over it won't affect the lights at all this has been tested in Europe and now Philips is bringing this to North America this year with applications like airport directions and office messages all sorts of commercial applications nothing residential yet from who knows maybe in the future you'll have carpet your living room that you can play dance dance revelution on here at life here in New York City I'm seen that's right crest
