hey there I'm Josh Goldman senior editor
with cnet and this is a look at the
pivot head Durango video recording I
wear now from far away these by just
look like regular sunglasses but when
you get up close buried in between the
lenses is in fact a lens that's backed
by an eight megapixel CMOS sensor now
with that you can record up to 1080p
full HD video at 30 frames per second
and take eight megapixel photos just
press forward on this rocker and it
starts recording pressing back captures
photos and inside the arm is eight gigs
of memory for storing up to an hour of
full HD video all powered by a battery
that charges off this micro USB port the
rocker can also be used to change the
resolution that you record at to 720p at
60 or 30 frames per second and you can
also change the focus mode more settings
for the glasses can be accessed through
a piece of desktop software and there
are plans to have an iOS and Android app
to do the same things as well video
quality is good about what you'd get
from a high-end smartphone or mini
camcorder but considering its 350 dollar
price tag you might find that a little
disappointing on the other hand you are
probably not going to want to strap your
smartphone to your forehead and with
these you can just pop a bond and start
recording I'm Josh Goldman and that's a
look at the pivothead Durango glasses
