Rare Superman issue stars as over 1,000 DC comics go on display

over 1,000 DC comics have been shown off
in London giving a glimpse at some of
the rarest and most valuable comic books
of all time the DC chapter of the
impossible collection is owned by
billionaire Eamon Hariri the son of
assassinated Lebanese Prime Minister
Rafik Hariri and contains a number of
famous comics as well as DC artwork the
collection features first appearances
and first covers for DC's most iconic
heroes including Wonder Woman the
Justice League of America and of course
the Caped Crusader Gotham's Dark Knight
the Batman meanwhile the jewel in the
collections crown our two copies of
Action Comics number one from 1938 the
first appearance of Superman the copy
shown here on the right was once stolen
from actor Nicholas Cage who later had
the Edition returned before it was sold
at auction for over two million dollars
the collection also grants a look at
comics published during World War two
when super heroes often served as
anti-nazi or anti-japanese propaganda
the impossible collection will be
viewable by the public with plans for a
