move gaming peripheral maker razor has
purchased smartphone brand next bit and
brought the company staff on board it's
unclear what the mobile startups role
will be at razor but the company's
original goal was to create a cloud
first smartphone but when its device
called the Robin debuted it was greeted
with a mixed reception after nearly two
years of being stuck in beta Dropbox's
web-based productivity app called paper
is finally being released to the public
the online collaboration tool lets users
create to-do lists assigned tasks track
progress and organize various types of
content a mobile version of paper is
also available finally wearable maker
Fitbit will shed roughly six percent of
its workforce which is 110 employees
this comes after disappointing sales
failed to meet revenue projections even
though the company had sold 6.5 million
devices in the last three months this
spells trouble for the wearables
category in general as Fitbit is the
markets leader
