when you wear a VR headset it's
instinctive to reach out and try and
touch things in the virtual world that's
where the Manas VR gloves come in fitted
with an accelerometer gyroscope and
magneto meter these wireless gloves
track your hand movements right now they
could horrible with the HTC vive headset
and controllers strapped onto your arms
kind of weird I can see my hands in
front of me and I can kind of see the
blurring effect at the Game Developers
Conference in San Francisco I tried them
out with a demo game called pillows
willow try to pick up this decade or
something I think I've got it now
the key you grabbing took me a while to
work out exactly what I was trying to do
oh I picked up that staircase to the
tail I don't know what that is you can
see I'm probably not built out for a
career in construction
the gloves are sensitive enough to pick
up movements like pinching and grabbing
the Manus VR gloves will be available in
q3 2016 and will cost two hundred and
fifty dollars for the developer's kit
