today a pair of new Roku streaming boxes are available in the US they cost the same as the current Roku's and the updates they receive a relatively minor but that's not necessarily a bad thing the Roku 3 has been seen its favorite streaming box for years thanks with lightning quick response time and a remote with a built-in headphone jack now it's remote is getting a new feature voice search it has a dedicated button and a built-in mic much like similar searches on Amazon's fire TV box or your phone you talk into the mic to get search results the new Roku 2 meanwhile is being upgraded so it's just as fast as the Roku 3 it keeps the same price at $69 in the US but loses the headphone remote feature of the current Roku 2 customers in the UK will be able to buy the new Roku 2 in May but won't get the new Roku 3 finally Roku is rolling out a software upgrade to all of its devices the biggest addition is roku feed which lets you follow certain new movies that aren't yet available to stream and be notified when they hit roku and how much they cost the upgrade will roll out in april in the US and begin in May in the UK stay tuned for our full reviews the new Roku's coming soon I'm David Katz Meijer for Cena
