Samsung Galaxy S7 vs. LG G5

2016-02-25
look everyone it's the Samsung Galaxy s7 edge and the LG g5 in the very same video the phones aren't out yet so it's too early for the deathmatch but I did want to pair them up for a friendly little walk off of their best features let's start with design the seven edge is really nice very polished refined made of metal and glass with the sealed and battery there curves on the front help it all flow it's eye-catching maybe a little too shiny definitely get smudged up and looks a lot like last year's model just bigger the g5 is interesting because it overhauls LG's previous style it's metal not plastic and it has a power lock button on the back and two camera lenses the battery pops out and you can wrench off the chin it's a modular phone which means you can swap out different chins that do different things like this camera grip thought also extends battery life both phones add an always-on display that shows you the time from the lock screen and they also both run in Android 6.0 on two cameras LG's double camera has a 16 megapixel lens and an 8 megapixel wide angle sensor you can manually switch between them or just drive and the camera software will switch gears for you on the s7 and s7 edge is a 12 megapixel camera on the back and a 5 megapixel camera up front Samsung promises better low-light performance and super fast autofocus the s7 phone will also bring back their microSD card slot and are once again water-resistant so which phone makes the bigger splash LG definitely is the riskiest of the two and it's far different from last year's bottle but samsung's phones will definitely hold their own it's still too early to declare a winner but when we do it will be a very exciting showdown
