here's a tablet that's designed to take
a beating is the Samsung Galaxy Tab
active designed for business types and
unveiled here at E for 2014 in Berlin
let's take a look so this tablet is all
about being rugged it's just resistant
and it's water resistant as well samsung
says that it wouldn't recommend holding
it underwater for a long period of time
but it should handle light water damage
so you'll be fine to take out in the
rain as a security conscious device this
has got access to Samsung's Knox
software which stores all of your
important documents and private files
securely beneath its rugged exterior
however this is a pretty standard
Android tablet it has an 8 inch display
that's got a 1280 by 800 pixel
resolution humming away inside is a 1.2
gigahertz quad-core processor and it's
running Android version 4.4 kitkat
around the back there's a 3.1 megapixel
camera and inside there's 16 gigabytes
of storage which if you need to you can
beef up using a microSD card so Samsung
is aiming this squarely at businesses
for now but we would like to see a
consumer version and that's because if
you do want a tablet that's ready to
face the elements you currently don't
have very many options let us know what
