2017-02-26
some people think that Android tablets are dead but those people aren't Samsung the company just announced the Galaxy Tab s3 to kick off Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Samsung spiffed up the updated model with a classy glass back panel instead of a plastic one the stylish new design really cements the Galaxy Tab s3 as a high-end tablet it runs Android 6.0 and features a stunningly sharp AMOLED resolution on its 9.7 inch screen the tablet comes with the stylus which Samsung still calls the s-pen there is some software integration that makes it easy and even fun to use but it's not as fully integrated as the Samsung Note series there's a keyboard case available for it that connects magnetically similar to the Microsoft Surface pro but it's sold separately the keyboard is similar to the one that's bundled with the Samsung Galaxy Book a new Windows 10 tablet that Samsung also just announced that model comes in two sizes but the Galaxy Tab s 3 is only available in a nine point seven inch model inside you'll find a snapdragon 820 processor and 32 gigabytes of internal storage that's expandable via microSD card expansion slot it also has a USB type-c port that supports fast charging the Samsung Galaxy Tab s2 was one of the best Android tablets to buy for a very long time and we expect nothing less from the next in line so far the Galaxy Tab s3 looks like a very promising successor
