hi I'm Scott Stein and guess what Samsung has gone into VR the Samsung gear VR headset works with partnered with oculus technology to provide a virtual reality environment that's compatible with the new Samsung Note 4 phone why because it's got a higher resolution screen 2560 by 1440 and that enables crisper pixelation not as pixelated experience when you're wearing this and plunging yourself into VR all around you Plus that Snapdragon 805 processor it will only work with Samsung Note 4 for now and it runs off a mobile phone as opposed to project Morpheus and existing oculus headsets that go into PCs so what does that mean well right now the experiences we've seen are more about virtual experiences with a little bit of games we've taken a look at the Avengers and Iron Man's lab we've taken a look at a Coldplay concert a virtual safari tour and experience where you're flying over landscapes and currently I'm in a spaceship in the middle of an asteroid belt with spaceships flying at me trying to kill me there is a touch pad on the side here along with a back button and volume buttons so you've got some element of control and of course accelerometer and all of that and you can pop out the no.4 right at the top it's got focal adjustments on the front so if you wear glasses like I do you can adjust the focus all the way up and Ratchet it to fit without glasses though I'm wearing glasses right now and it does fit a little snugly but fine that's Samsung gear VR in a nutshell I'm Scott Stein and I'm in outer space at the moment you
