hi everybody I'm here with a 98 inch su h d 8k TV with a curved display the largest one in the world Samsung tells me here at Samsung's booth this TV has 8k resolution which is 76 80 by 40 320 pixels that's four times the resolution of UHD and 16 times resolution of standard 1080p that's a lot of pixels of course IKS content doesn't exist it'll be a little while before it does there's no standards for it yet this is just a concept piece but Samsung says this thing will actually ship in the second half of 2016 we'll see and we'll also see how much it costs at 98 inches one curved su HD panel with quantum dot again like Samsung's smaller less expensive nearly 4k televisions out there but pretty impressive to look at and when I went right up to the screen those pixels are still infinitesimally small that's what happens when you get to a K I'm David Katz my recei net at CES 2016
