Samsung is we're calling all Galaxy Note
seven phones after reports of battery
issues began to surface the company said
that it received 35 separate reports of
batteries that either overheated or even
exploded it's completely stopped selling
the device for now and is working with
local retailers on exchange and return
programs the phone has only been on sale
for two weeks and Samsung has reportedly
already sold 1 million units this is the
second manufacturing issue Samsung's had
this summer following a waterproofing
problem with some galaxy s7 active units
if you bought a note 7 reach out to your
retailer to find out exactly how to
return or exchange the device batteries
contain noxious chemicals so if your
battery explodes don't touch it with
your bare hands and don't throw it away
either make sure that you take it back
to the retailer and let them handle it
we haven't experienced these problems
with our review units but we do take the
matter seriously so for now we have
removed the star rating from our notes
have an review we will re review the
phone when Samsung has confirmed that it
sticks the problem make sure that you
check back with CNN for more details as
this story develops
