at CES 2015 i'm here with samsung and this is look at its Tizen operating system this is a new Smart TV system the Samsung is using on all its Smart TVs 4 2015 completely redesigned compared to last year and on the surface looks a lot more intuitive one of the cool things is when you put up push the button on the remote or lay your finger right on the touch-sensitive part of the remote pad it comes up with four quadrants of the screen you can navigate to any of them one of them is volume another one is channel you can also go right down to the smart section and activate this little bar that pulls up shows you where all the apps are one of the nice things is on that bar it shows you more recent apps instead of just a lineup of constant absol this actually changes compared to which ones you use most it also provides recommendations on that bar so you can actually figure out what's going to happen Samsung has added a couple new apps just here including the ability to wake up the TV along with you in the morning so you get your weather and everything in the morning the TVs are also compatible with the PlayStation now service you can play to play station now games right on the TV without having to connect a console another advantage of the Tizen operating system is open source of developers can come along and create new apps for the TVs Tizen is the same operating system used in some of Samsung's wearables and phones so these TVs actually interface with Samsung phones a lot more easily than before that's a quick look at Samsung Tizen operating system for their new Smart TVs I'm David Katz mark from Cena
