hey guys it's brian bennett cnet.com and
right now we are at the samsung galaxy
note 2 launch event in New York and
we're actually taking a look at the new
Samsung Galaxy camera now this device is
a 16 megapixel camera it looks like a
regular point issue camera but on the
back you can see there is a four point
eight inch screen here and is actually
running Android for dot one jellybean so
it is essentially a android device fully
functional can run apps connect to
Google Play all that stuff you expect in
an Android tablet or internet device it
will also be available on HC NC and will
connect to their 4g LTE network but only
data not voice so you can't make
cellular voice calls on it but you will
be able to do skype or other voice over
IP type applications the camera has a
very large zoom lens here a 21 X zoom
lens to be specific it has a flash up on
the top that pops out so the Samsung
Galaxy camera can take 16 megapixel
resolution images and also 1080p HD
resolution video it's basically an
Android device that's also a
point-and-shoot camera so there you have
it folks this has been a first look at
the samsung galaxy camera
