Samsung is attempting to put the last
nail on the Galaxy Note seven coffin and
it's not going down without a fight
the final software update rolling out
December 19 will make it impossible to
use the phone as a mobile device a
September release had already limited
charging capacity of the phone to a
maximum of 60 percent but this one would
completely eliminate the ability to
recharge Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 came
under fire shortly after its release
after multiple users reported exploding
batteries this forced the Korean company
to recall all units of the note 7 making
it one of the biggest tech chaos ghosts
of 2016 yet despite offering full
refunds and multiple incentives about 7%
of note 7 users still refuse to give up
their phones and even this software
update may not stop them from using the
phone if their Verizon customers the
u.s. mobile carrier will not be rolling
out the update because of safety issues
Verizon released a statement saying it
will not force the update on people who
may not have another device to switch to
in the midst of this holiday travel
season because traveling with your note
7 in your pocket is a much safer option
AT&T Sprint and t-mobile haven't yet
said if they will be rolling out the
update so I guess we haven't heard the
last of the note 7 and for more tech
