Samsung's budget Galaxy Light stays on target

2014-02-06
if you're looking for a portable and affordable Android phone for t-mobile then you might want to check out the Samsung Galaxy lite I'm Jessica's all-court from CNN and this is your first look now this phone has only a 4-inch screen don't see a lot of those these days but that means that it's gonna be very small and very pocketable has the same curved look as a lot of the other Samsung phones like the galaxy s3 galaxy s4 that helps slide easily into pockets along with this very shiny and glossy cover on the front and back it is going to be a fingerprint magnet just so you know now this phone runs Android 4.2.2 jelly bean it has the TouchWiz interface on top so if you're familiar with Samsung phones then you'll know exactly how to operate this one there is a central physical button it's pretty easy to touch very responsive and then the typical backlit back and menu keys on either side now this phone does have a quad core processor 1.4 gigahertz to be exact pretty snappy it also has a five megapixel camera on the back that takes up to 720p HD video there's a flash as well and on the front is a VGA front-facing camera now these camera resolutions are fairly low as far as phones go these days but I did take some pretty satisfying pictures more satisfying outdoors than indoors on board you've got eight gigabytes of storage but if you need more than you can expand up to 64 gigabytes cost is a major consideration with this phone and luckily it's on the lower end of the spectrum $240 all-in with t-mobile that's gonna be zero dollars upfront and then you're gonna pay for the device ten dollars every month for the next 24 months that's pretty good it's not the cheapest phone that t-mobile sells also isn't the simplest but it is right there in that sweet spot for the budget section I'm just good all court 4c that you can check out the full review of the Samsung Galaxy light at cnet.com
