we are inside the Amazon Fulfillment
Center here in Tracy California on one
of the busiest shopping days of the year
there are over 3000 people here working
to pack order
come with me as I take you on a tour of
everything that goes on inside the
center in a full 360 degrees and over
get make sure to spin around
dozens of Kiva robots move shelves of
products across the warehouse floor
workers then pick out orders from the
shelves with screens at each station
telling them exactly what item to grab
when the order is ready it travels down
conveyer belts in one of these yellow
bins
each order arrives at a station to be
packed up in a cardboard box ready for
shipment
but before it gets sent out this machine
scans a barcode on the box that makes
sure the right address is printed on the
label
