always phones have typically fall in the category of cheap and cheerful but that's not quite the case with the new mate s this is a flagship phone with a price to match now this phone does do plenty to justify its high price tag it's got a slim metal design which I think looks quite nice and feels great to hold screen is great it's full HD nice and crisp 13 megapixel camera on the back can take some great shots and the fingerprint sensor found just below it works really nicely one of the main problems I have is the android software cuales put its own skin on it which I really don't like mostly because it gets rid of the app tray so all your apps are store just on the home screens and it can get very cluttered and messy it also seems to slow down the processor a lot so it doesn't feel like a very nippy phone to use Chloe has tried to compete with Apple's 3d touch by allowing you to tap swipe or press harder into the screen to perform secondary functions now I like this feature a lot on Apple's iPhone but on here why has done very little to actually put it to use the technology is there but there's very little you can do with it it's not that there's anything majorly wrong with the phone it's basically fine it just got too high a price which puts it up alongside flagship phones from some of the other major mobile manufacturers and without the brand sex appeal hallway is really going to struggle I'm untrue oil cnet and this is the qua wait mate s
