hi I'm Lexy Avedis here at CES 2014 taking a look at the latest in smart fed technologies now of course at the show we've got lots of smart TVs we've got obviously smart phone smart home and now the bedroom gets a chance with the Sleep Number x12 this bed is connected to the Internet gives you a whole bunch of options to make your sleep better and it also helps stop your partner from snoring each side of the bed gets a remote control and each person can individually control the firmness or the softness of their bed as well as their massage settings and keep an eye on their sleep habits and if your partner is snoring on the other side of the bed you can actually swap to their control and stop them from snoring by raising the head of the bed do you want to keep an eye on your sleeping habits in the sleep IQ app is the one for you you can keep an eye on how many times during the night you've moved when you get up and how much restful sleep you have based on your heart rate as well all this information is fed through to the app so you can check it either through the remote or on your app in your morning and wake up and the bed also gives you a sleep IQ score you can then track this over a set period of time to work out exactly how much sleep you're getting and the quality of your sleep too if you find yourself getting up in your bed at the middle of the night needing to do something else then this bed will actually light up underneath and it takes exactly when you're getting out of bed so there's no stumbling around in the dark no stubbing your toe on the bed head you can also control the lights from the remote control plus the voice control means you can do a number of different things like turn the lights on and change the firmness of your you desire I'm Lexus Avedis at CES 2014 have seen it taking a first look at the Sleep Number x12 I'm gonna have a lie down on the job
