hi I'm rich brown for cnet we're here at
Aoife 2015 in berlin and we're here to
take a look at the new smart things hub
version 2 point 0 this one has a slimmer
design than the original it also has
bluetooth connectivity whereas before
just had Wi-Fi zigbee and z-wave so I
really expands and of our smart home
products that can work with it so the
gist is that it's a hub it's designed to
control your whole house when you outfit
it with all kinds of different connected
devices from door locks the thermostats
to sensors all kinds of different other
accessories the hub itself will sell for
99 bucks in the US as a standalone
product you can get the sensors for
about 35 55 bucks depending on which
ones you have so I'm rich brown for cnet
we're here at Aoife 2015
