wipe it up with just a tablet or a laptop when you can have both this is the Sony Vaio flip and it's the company's new attempt at creating a tablet laptop hybrid is on show here at the ephah 2013 trade show in Berlin so let's take a look so like most of these hybrid devices the flip looks just like a laptop at first however it has two hinges on it there's one hinge here in the traditional laptop hinge location and a second in the middle halfway up the screen right here now what you can do you slide this switch to the release position and then you flip the screen in the middle and you can use that to twist the device into a tablet Sony's fire devices often have quite a nice design and this one looks pretty good as well I really like this brushed metal effect here and the way that that carries on to the inside over the wrist rest one minor criticism could be that when it's in tablet mode it doesn't quite live flat is at a very slight angle how annoying that is we'll have to wait and see the flip is going to be known as the fit multi flip in Europe it should be coming out this year let me know what you think and please check out sina.com slash ether for much more
