I'm Andrew Horrell for cnet and I'm here
taking a look at the Sony Xperia m2 it's
a new middle of the range addition to
Sony's Xperia mobile lineup now
physically it's easy to see the Xperia
heritage it has the same rounded edges
glass front and back making a look very
similar to the older xperia z four point
eight inch display has a 960 x 540 pixel
resolution that's not as high as a full
HD of the z1 but it looks easily good
enough for the everyday essentials like
facebook and twitter inside is a 1.2
gigahertz quad-core processor and this
little ride running android 4.3
jellybean now sony does say that there
will be an update to the latest version
of KitKat but it hasn't give any dates
yet on the back of the phone is an 8
megapixel camera now that probably won't
be challenging the 20 megapixel camera
of the z1 but will hopefully be good
enough to get some snaps of your friends
drunk at your parties there's no
official word from Sony yet on the price
but as a mid-range offering you can
expect you to be somewhere around the
230 pound mark when it goes on sale in
the UK sometime in the spring sony
hasn't yet said if it will ever make its
way to the US I'm Andrew Hoyle 50 net
and this is a sony xperia m2
