I'm Andrew Horrell for cnet's and I'm here taking a look at the Sony Xperia z2 tablet so the latest 10-inch slate from Sony packing some top end kit into a super skinny waterproof body with its tennis display the z2 tablet is much the same size it's basically any other 10 inch tablet around but only six point four mil thick it is extremely skinny and very lightweight to just good news if you plan on carrying it around all day like its predecessor and the other phones in Sony's Xperia range it is completely waterproof so you can watch netflix in the bath lovely stuff it has a full HD resolution and sony reckons it uses much of the same tech from its TVs which apparently gives much more bold colors now inside is running on the same Snapdragon 801 processor as the Xperia z2 smartphone that's a quad core 2.3 gigahertz chip which should make everything extremely Swift comes running the latest android 4.4 point2 KitKat software as well as load of Sony additions like its music and TV streaming services you'll also be able to hook up a ps3 controller to play some games from the PlayStation mobile store no official word from Sony yet on how much this guy's going to set you back but keep your eyes peeled throughout March as it's due to go on sale at the end of that month there's no word yet on whether it will come to the u.s. doors but it will be launched first throughout Europe I'm Andrew Horrell for cnet and this is a sony xperia z2 tablet
