advanced compact cameras are a dime a
dozen and this latest release from Sony
is bound to confuse things a little bit
if you're in the market for a new model
I'm Lexie Sebelius was seen it this is a
first look at the brand new Sony rx100
mark three inside is the same 20
megapixel BSI sensor from Sony same as
on the mark 2 but the image processor is
totally different
the lens is where the biggest changes
have been made by Sony so now it's
roughly equivalent to a 24 to 17
millimeter lens maximum aperture range
is now between F 1.8 and F 2.8 which is
really quite nice and bright on the
outside at the top you get a pop-up
flash that still bends and tilts back so
you can do all sorts of cool bouncing
effects there is now an integrated
electronic viewfinder so all you need to
do hit the switch here pop up the
electronic viewfinder pull it out a
little bit as well other options include
on the modal your full manual control
plus automatic modes Sony's scene
panorama modes and inside you also get
1080p video and the option to shoot in
xav CS this has been a quick first look
at the brand new Sony rx100 mark 3 check

full specs over at CNET
