hey there i'm josh goldman senior editor with CNET and this is a look at the sony cybershot DSC WX 50 an excellent little pocket camera good for anyone wanting better photos and performance than a phone can offer without weighing you down this is a perfect pocket or purse camera with a high res 2.7 inch LCD on back in a 5 X F to 625 millimeter ultra wide angle lens on front and the ability to shoot full HD movies at the press of a button you get a lot of shooting options - including some fun effects and Sony's suite panorama mode photo and movie quality are excellent given its price but it's still a point-and-shoot so they don't hold up under close scrutiny and getting the best results from this camera requires some experimentation with its shooting features probably its biggest issue though is its tiny controls and this control wheel which is designed to make changing shooting modes and navigation easier but it's just a little too easy to accidentally move those are pretty minor things in comparison to the rest of the package though making it an all-around good choice for a grab-and-go camera at less than $200 I'm Josh : and that's the sony cybershot WX 50
