it's been a long time coming for sound
bars but the Sony HD NT 5 has finally
cracked it after years of saying spend
400 bucks and stop there this is the
first sub $1,000 sound bar that we'd
actually recommend the Sony offers
everything you'd expect for 800 bucks
designer good looks plenty of
connectivity and excellent all-round
performance the NT 5 is a 2.1 channel
system with a wireless sound bar it has
the unique ability to lay flat on an AV
unit or hang on a wall thanks to two
sets of tweeters these keep the sound
from being muffled in one position or
the other the sony also lets you connect
a pair of Zr fibers at our seven
speakers as rears if you feel like
adding an extra 400 or so to your belt
but from testing it does make a big
difference to movers
I also like the three HDMI ports with
support for 4k and ace councils the
sandbar is also capable of streaming
music with bluetooth Google music and
the company's own song pal control app
music sounds good in a way that most
sound bars don't it's open and there's
plenty of bottom-end movies also sound
great with excellent dialogue
articulation and plenty of explosively
boomy goodness yes you can still get
better value for money by spending less
but if you're looking to spend around
$1,000 this is the sound bar to buy
you
