hey there I'm Josh Goldman and if you're
looking for the smallest lightest way to
put a 20x zoom lens in your pocket this
is it
it's the sony cybershot DSC WX 300 which
features a lens that starts at a wide 25
millimetres and zooms to 500 millimetres
unlike Sony's bigger and more feature
packed HX 50 V this model is primarily
targeted at those who want a better
point-and-shoot experience than you'll
get with a smart phone so there are a
lot of automatic shooting options
including Sony's excellent panorama mode
creative effects and multi shot modes
for low-light and backlit subjects but
no direct control over shutter speed and
aperture you also get built-in Wi-Fi for
sending shots directly to iOS or Android
devices as well as remote control of the
camera and that will also let you shoot
and save to your device photo quality
and shooting performance are good not
quite well you'll get with the
higher-end HX 50 V but certainly better
than what smartphone offers it also has
great battery life so basically if you
want a lot of zoom range but don't want
to feel too weighed down by carrying a
second device this is a very good choice
I'm Josh Goldman and that's the sony
cybershot WX 300
