Sony's latest high-end TVs Travis to be
brighter than ever the V Series has
three different sizes ranging through
its 65 75 and 100 inch all are using
Sony's backlight master drive technology
it was first showcased as a prototype at
CES 2016 it's a new backlight designed
for HDR that sony claims expands
brightness and contrast even more than
before each LED can be dimmed
individually so in theory this reduces
blooming while we weren't allowed to
show you a side-by-side comparison of
the TV next to all the panels the Z
series enhanced HDR content and provided
greater detail in contrast it's also
really really bright Sony isn't
disclosing any numbers but the company
says it's the brightest on the market
expected TVs to be released in late some
of these years of seven thousand US
dollars on the 65 inch $10,000 for the
75 inch and a yet to be decided practice
on the 100 inch
