Disney is revealing Star Wars secrets through an augmented reality game Disney's main Star Wars app has a new treasure hunting AR game from September 1st through the 3rd players of the game will learn about new characters in the upcoming movie Star Wars the last Jedi to play you have to download the Star Wars app for iPhone and Android and open the game called find the force then starting September 1st go to a participating retail store to find a poster or some art that says find the force there are 20,000 stores across 30 countries with this scannable arch and some websites have it too you use the app to scan the picture with your phone's camera and it's gonna show you a virtual Star Wars character maybe someone you know or maybe someone not yet revealed keep doing this over 3 days to find all 15 characters and unlock some digital goodies if you share videos and photos on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtags find the force and hashtag sweepstakes you're gonna be entered in a drawing to win tickets to the last Jedi movie its opening in December you can get your practice in early if you scan this image out now you'll find some porks why is it just 3 days well the treasure hunt is time to start on force Friday that's the day new Star Wars toys and merchandise goes on sale so this little game is in part to lure you into a store to buy stuff while you're scanning things and get you hyped up for the movie I'm Bridget Carey and whenever there's a disturbance in the force you'll hear about it on CNET calm
