SteelSeries Stratus pad does iPhone and iPad gaming

2014-01-07
hello tech fans I'm the Westway 50 net here at CES 2014 I'm taking a look at this it's the SteelSeries Stratos a tiny gamepad for iOS 7 devices so when it created iOS 7 Apple opened up the capability for these gamepad controllers to work with the iPhone iPad and iPod touch and this is one of the first wave of devices to take advantage of that it looks a lot like an Xbox controller but it's absolutely tiny despite that small size however it feels quite comfortable to hold and I'm pleased to see that there are four trigger buttons I've been playing a little grand theft auto san andreas and I can say that actually all the buttons feel like they are where they should be which isn't something you often get with these mobile game pads it'll work with anything running iOS 7 but it doesn't work with Android it does come with this plastic case though which you can put on the front for protection or you can slap it on the back to make the controller feel a bit more chunky these game pads for mobile devices haven't really taken off yet but this definitely feels like one of the better ones I've used so here's hoping 8 it's coming out later this month and it's gonna cost $99 on the US trade casino at CES 2014 check out CES cocina con for more
