hey guys it's Sharon backing for
cnet.com here at CES 2012 checking out
Sony's nsz gp9 blu-ray player now unlike
the previous version this blu-ray player
features 3d technology right out of box
it also tosses that old clunky remote
control and gives you this new one that
features a qwerty keyboard on the back
and a touchpad on the front so because
this blu-ray player has google TV
built-in you can control all of your
apps with this right here you can pinch
and zoom on webpages google maps and
access your entire AV system because
this is also a universal remote now one
feature that I really like is this
built-in mic it doesn't do voice command
but Sony will let you search for things
on your TV Guide or on Google search
basically anything that's included in
Google TV you see that voice command may
come in the future but that does depend
on developers for the Android platform
now this is a bluetooth remote which
means that you can attach a complete
bluetooth keyboard to this device if you
do prefer that experience sony is also
releasing the NSC gs-7 which is first
dedicated google TV device that will
simply turn your TV into a google
enabled television both of these
products will be available by summer but
sony hasn't released the pricing details
yet for cnet.com at CES 2012 I'm Sharon
Vaknin
you
